Allies Mentor, Celeste, and her mentee, “A,” have been matched for the past six years. Over that time, Celeste has faithfully walked alongside A as she navigated the challenges of residential living, probation, court dates, school, family dynamics, and job searches. Through it all, A has come to trust Celeste for steady guidance, wise counsel, and consistent encouragement. Together, they’ve built a strong foundation—attending church, sharing life experiences, and growing in faith. This September marked a powerful milestone in A’s journey: she made the decision to dedicate her life to Christ and was baptized last week. It was a beautiful and emotional moment of rebirth and renewal—but what made it even more meaningful was the presence of those who have supported her along the way. Her parents, Celeste (her mentor), her Allies Coach, and another participant in the Allies program all came together to celebrate this significant step in her life.
